2 Weeks ago today

Brynlee Louisa Sharp finally made her arrival 2 weeks ago today and what a sweet joy she is in my life. She arrived at 11:38p.m. on June 23rd weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 21 inches long.

During the last two weeks she is growing and changing. She is a healthy happy little baby and such a joy in my life. She is loved and adored by everyone. People always have to stop and look at and adore her.

Brynlee is a sweet treasure to her grandparents as well. There was an instant bond between her and grandma and grandpa. She stole their heart from the beginning...but who can blame them. She is just too cute not to love!

Let's Get Started

So with the anticipation of my daughter any day now, and many of my friends beginning one of these, I decided it was time to jump on the technological highway and start blogging. So as I wait for the new little one to arrive I thought I would take a moment to give the world an update into me...the mommy to be of the Sharp Girls.
I am 29 years old, living in SLC. I completed my Masters in Education and am loving my career as an elementary teacher. Actually it's summer break so I'm loving it even more (basically because now I get to take lots of naps -- I know what a hard life. Next question that usually comes is about my husband. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you look at it, the wedding didn't happen and I'm not married. It's a long story as to what happened there, but to make a LONG story short, God is amazing and got me out of a bad situation before it got worse. So basically I'm preparing to the single mom thing and welcome my beautiful baby girl into this world at anytime now.
